    There's no evidence that scans are harmful, the person carrying out the scans, will follow all the rigth guidelines.
  • 3) What can you see on an ultrasound at 5 weeks ?
    On your 5 weeks pregnant ultrasound, you should be able to see your gestacional sac and the yolk sac.

    Yes, anytime at or after 13 weeks.
  • 5) What is a 2D scan ?
    Is the standard procedure used for years, they provide flatter, two-dimensional, black and white images of your baby.
  • 6) What is 3D scan ?
    Is an advanced method which captures a true, three-dimensional image of your baby, allowing the ability to see specific facial features and well-defined.
  • 7) What is 4D ultrasound mean ?
    4D scans show moving 3D images of your baby, with time being the fourth dimension. It's natural to be really excited of your first scan.
  • 8) Do you accept any insurance ?
    No, we do not accept insurance because this is an elective service procedure.
  • 9) When is the best time to have 3D/4D ultrasound scan ?
    Depend, many mothers like comming on, 15-26 weeks, when they can see the baby as a whole, between 25-34 weeks to see more detailed face, and between 28-34 weeks your baby develops more fat and gets more define face.

    We do not contact your doctor, this is an elective service, we do require however that you currently are under prenatal care. ULTRASOUND TECHINICIANS CANNOT MAKE A DIAGNOSIS IN THIS OFFICE.
  • 12) Is there any preparation for the ultrasound scan ?
    Yes, * Wear comfortable clothes * Make sure to drink plenty of water for a least a week prior to your appointment Note: Drinking water can impact the quality of your image. Hydration can increase the amniotic fluid and improve the clarity of your ultrasound.
  • 13) What is a BFP scan in pregnancy ?
    BFP: Big Fat Positive Is reference to a positive result on pregnancy.
  • 14) What is Fetal Cardiac Doppler ultrasound ?
    Is a handled ultrasound transducer used to detect the fetal heartbeat during prenatal care. This device uses the Doppler effect to provide an audible simulation of the heartbeat
  • 15) What if can't get great pictures of my baby ?
    Most babies cooperate for us in the first time of the scan. But, if your baby don't cooperate for your entire visit, the technician may decide to schedule you for a follow-up ultrasound and no charge.
  • 16) Who can I bring to my ultrasound ?
    Whoever you choose ! Our office welcomes and encourages your family, friends, and children to come.
  • 17) Are these ultrasounds safe for me and my baby ?
    3D/4D ultrasounds use the same frequency as your doctor uses in the normal 2D ultrasound. Ultrasounds have been performed for over 30 years and there have been no proven side effects from its proper use. We strictly follow to the FDA's standards
  • 18) What is an elective ultrasound scan ?
    This elective procedure provide expectant mothers and family with an opportunity to bond with their unborn baby in a calm, and friendly environment.
